Poems I wrote for my English Literature degree

Enveloped in a shroud of vulnerability, I summoned the courage to unveil a pair of my most cherished poems I wrote during Uni. I’d love to know what you make of it : D

Why, understandably, is understandable.

Why? Because.

And as long as why exists, because follows through.

Bringing comfort, instantly, or eventually to the person who muttered or shouted- why.

Too, whereas is ambiguous, remains undefined.
Too heavy? Too much? Too little? Too late?

And then one fine day they heard she died on her own account.
And someone shouted and someone muttered- why.

And too confessed.

Because too heavy, too much, too little, too late.

Short days, long nights;

Winter
Short days, longer nights;
You.
Either case, I
For it seems to be,
In all clarity,
That it is me.
But with you
I am no longer I,
And therefore,
I am no longer lonely.
Us.
We.
Are complete
I am lonely
We aren’t.
