Why Goodness is the right direction

We are taught as a child that the Good is above Evil. In most cases we follow this social core principle, we help our parents, say good morning to the neighbours, take care of our pet animals and even organize a funeral for dead birds. Without asking questions we copy our parents, which btw. become the role models for the whole period of our childhood.

Somehow they know its not the time for smoking, drinking and cursing anymore, not in front of the kids. Even if they weren’t the ideal citizens for few decades before, now during the having-a-child time, they almost automatically become a perfect example, the perfect couple from a bank commercial. But is it only a social inherited paradigm, the need to have a peaceful nest or the internal fear that we will create a social monster ?

The most complete answer must lie far deeper than the social layer. Otherwise why would we construct such a sophisticated system of educating, promoting and encouraging Goodness all over the world. We could as well behave like other animals and just don’t care, just be driven by the nature instincts. Being indifferent would be quite convenient in numerous moments of our lives, but there is this encoded internal voice that tells us to go the right way. We could attribute this behaviour to our Creator, but sticking to the free will paradigm, there had to be a process that shaped humanity that way. So why didn’t we go wild wild west on this planet, like Hitler tried to ? What makes us always choose Goodness at the end, although the Evil may be considered more interesting and magnetic by our brains ?

The hypothetical answer to this very real observation is a combination of physics and philosophy. To be precise it is the act of creation, how we perceive it and intuitively connect with the Good. All people, good or bad, they surround themselves with a plethora of creation results, even villains use weapons, knifes, guns, ropes which are the output of the sophisticated creation process. This process let us live, make children, prepare food, and it must be connected with the Good and right in order for us to survive. We would throw away any spoiled apple as something bad for us, useful only as a symbol of something disgusting, good for a sleazy worm. Not for us. We, the People primarily connect creation with something good and right and the opposite with Evil, because no men wants to be surrounded by mess, eat mess and drive mess.

Creation > People > the Good
