The other-directedness of the modal Afrikan political-economic personality is compatible with White American and European domination of Afrikans because it permits African consciousness and behavior to be manipulated by “others other than themselves,” primarily by White Americans and Europeans.

This means that the true empowerment and liberation of Afrikan peoples can only be achieved in the process of the Afrikan-centered reconstruction of the Afrikan personality by means of the re-education of Afrikan adults, adolescents and children in with Afrikan-centered curricular.

African centered education is rooted in the unique history and evolved culture of African People. It is concerned with origins, current status and future of the African world.

African centered education is committed to correcting the historical distortions born of three millenia of foreign invasion, destruction, enslavement, physical and mental colonialism, cultural disruption, and dependency.

The future of African world must begin with a confirmed sense of African nationality defined within the universe of African spiritual , moral and philosophical traditions and committed to the material and spiritual development and independence of the African world.

Only an unambiguously African centered education can possibly accomplish this goal.

African centered education is to be distinguished from the current educational philosophies being employed in independent African nations and national enclaves in the Americas, Asia, Asia the Pacific, and Europe.
