My Journey as an XR Developer

The day I have watched Avengers , I was highly inspired from the character Iron Man aka Tony Stark , and after that I named myself ASUR Stark . From that day I have decided I will develop something related to Mixed Reality in my B.Tech journey .

So , I am going to tell all my lovely readers today , how I went into the world of METAVERSE . I would be concluding my story in few headlines chronologically which is as follows:-

I along with some of my juniors participated in NASA Space Apps Challenge 2022 . We got 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 . Our team was one of the 𝙏𝙤𝙥 47 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 having Special Mention. It was only possible because of the contribution of Mr.Kapil Kumar Singh.

I learned using Github as well as deploying Unity WEBGL pages and have made a tutorial regarding that too!

I applied for the internship oppurtunity at IDEX portal and fortunately got shortlisted .IDEX stand for Innovation for Defence Excellence which is an integral part of Ministry of Defence. It integrates and manages all the startups across India which make products for the Ministry of Defence.

I made an AR based shopping website which allows the user to have an AR view of the entity to be ordered in their space. The link to the website repository is hereby with:

I used HTML,CSS,JavaScript, Unity Engine and Zappar Tool to build this website. The peculiar feature of this website involved the use of Zappar framework which i have learnt through the documentations. I have made an entire tutorial for using this framework , you can visit if it excites you!

A research paper also got published by my seniors using the concept of this project.

I got to know about the African XR Community through twitter. This community is doing very well and sharing the knowledge related to 3D designing on Blender , Game Development in Unity . I learnt the basics of 3D designing and made an endless runner game only with the help of this supportive community. The game that i have made is in the apk format available in this github repository.

Being a filter developer, I keep participating in filter making challenges which are being organized by various communities. Basically ReSkill hosts Instagram and Facebook Filter challenges and Hack2Skill hosts Snapchat challenges. One should actively participate in these contests because these contests play an important factor in making the filters viral.
